Welcome to the heartfelt Music Academy Course Schedule and Registration page. Click on the particular course you are interested in for details. We are developing these course offerings and will add instruction for beginning through advanced in various other areas such as bass guitar, voice, songwriting, etc.

Beginning Guitar

  • Fun Guitar Class 1 (Mount Hermon): PAST
    January 23 - March 26 (Wednesdays), 4:05pm-5:00pm, grades 4-8, (2A Madrone, Mount Hermon).     This is a beginning course for children grades 4-8 who want to learn how to play guitar and experience the basics in music. Students start developing modern guitar technique, essential musical listening skills, foundational understanding in reading music, and how to care for their instrument. Sign-up with Heartfelt Music (831) 335-1905. The cost is $160 for the 8 week course which also includes the book Guide to Playing the Guitar (with CD) by Terry Burrows. There will also be relevant hand-outs for each class. This course has been approved for public school and is non-sectarian (Ocean Grove School Approved Vendor).

Intermediate Guitar

  • Fun Guitar Class 2 (Mount Hermon): COMING
    April 30 - May 21 (Wednesdays), 3:30pm-4:30pm, grades 4-8, (2A Madrone, Mount Hermon).     This is an intermediate course for youth grades 4-8 who want to go beyond the basics and learn how to play guitar on an intermediate level. Students continue developing modern guitar technique, contemporary chords, essential musical listening skills, foundational understanding in reading music, and how to care for their instrument. Sign-up with Heartfelt Music (831) 335-1905. The cost is $80 for the 4 week course. We will continue with the book Guide to Playing the Guitar (with CD) by Terry Burrows. There will also be relevant hand-outs for each class. This course has been approved for public school and is non-sectarian (Ocean Grove School Approved Vendor).

Beginning Voice

  • Fun Voice Class (Mount Hermon): PAST
    Not scheduled at this time, grades 5-8,     (2A Madrone, Mount Hermon). This is a fun beginning course for youth grades 5-8 who want to learn how to sing and experience the basics in music. Students learn the Five Vocal Parts, the Six Ways to Sing Better, and the Four Elements of Sound found in life. Sign-up with Heartfelt Music (831) 335-1905. The cost is $160 for the 8 week course. There will also be relevant hand-outs for each class. This course has been approved for public school and is non-sectarian (Ocean Grove School Approved Vendor).
