Are you up for the challenge (and fun) of playing for four hours straight as you jam and glean new insights from others? Would you donate your time to propel the Christian Guitar & Bass Conferences like never before? Would you like the chance of a lifetime to play one-on-one with Phil Keaggy as one of the top seven participants?
A Unique Musical Adventure
On November 13th, adventurous guitarists and bassists will gather for an unforgetable experience call the Guitar & Bass Play-a-thon. This unique and specialized event is a fund raiser to raise funds specifically toward promoting the Christian Guitar & Bass Conferences in 2006. We at Heartfelt Music Ministry put our emphasis on encouraging and equipping others to glorify God and serve Him in music ministry. This coming year, we're expanding to four locations and have extra need for radio spots, magazine blurbs, brochures, and posters to get the word out for all four conferences (Northern California, Southern California, Illinois, and North Carolina).
Each participant will rotate playing with other participants one-on-one for the majority of the time. We will have songs, progressions, exercises, and other resources to share. Each participant will receive:

- Over $50 worth of music resources (strings, magazines, CDs, sheet music, etc.)
- Free admittance to the Phil Keaggy concert that night.
- A 25% discount toward registration to the 2006 Christian Guitar & Bass Conference.
We need your help and you'll have the time of your life doing what you love during this four hour stringed marathon. You can go to friends, family, teachers, employees, companies, etc. Let them know how this will help us train and empower over 1,000 guitarists.
Top Seven Participants
Phil Keaggy will spend some of his time promoting the conferences by playing one-on-one with seven individuals (either guitarists or bassists) who raise the most support. Each of the seven people will get 10 minutes to "jam" with Phil which we will record and make into a DVD so you can show all your friends for years to come.

To participate, print and fill out the Application Form (click here for pdf file) and mail it to: Heartfelt Music Ministry, PO Box 113, Mount Hermon, CA 95041. Also, print the Sponsor Donation Form (click here for pdf file) and get as many sponsors as possible. You need to raise at least $100 worth of donations (which are tax-deductible) from sponsors in order to enter. You must take care of your own transportation to and from the event. We will provide snacks throughout the afternoon. This will be such a memorable experience, so come join the "jam!"
